In 1932, in Westerheim in the mountains of Suabia, Alois Kneer founded a small cabinetmaking shop. That was the beginning. Today, we employ a work force of more than 700 at our plants in Westerheim, Schnelldorf and Massen – nowadays, we are also among the major manufacturers of windows and front doors.

At our three plants which total approx. 40,000 m² of production space, windows and front doors are made to order, by the customer's request. The production installations are maintained at a state-of-the-art level by way of continuous investments – and set themselves apart by their high flexibility.

At our main plant in Westerheim, we produce aluminium-wood windows, aluminium-wood front doors, wooden front doors, synthetic windows and synthetic front doors. In the Central Franconian town of Schnelldorf (located directly on the motorway A6), wooden windows, wooden front doors, synthetic windows and aluminium-synthetic windows are produced. At the plant in Massen, aluminium windows and aluminium front doors are produced.

On a daily basis, approx. 1,400 windows and more than 60 front doors leave the production sites for delivery to the customer via our own vehicle fleet. Our only distributors are an area-wide and qualified network of specialised dealers, along with prefabricated-house manufacturers.

Each production site has its own modern and expansive exhibition. A highly-motivated office team and 25 highly-qualified field-service employees are here to advise the customer.
